Firmware is required to be installed for device operation:<\/span><\/p>\n

Add a “non-free” component to \/etc\/apt\/sources.list<\/em> for your Debian version, for example:<\/p>\n

Update the list of available packages and install the zd1211-firmware package:<\/p>\n

nmcli dev<\/div><\/div>\n
nmcli dev wifi list<\/div><\/div>\n

Connect the device to your system. The zd1211rw kernel module is automatically loaded for supported devices.<\/p>\n

Configure your wireless interface as appropriate.<\/p>\n
